So we run run run to the end of the world
and jump the gun gun gun before the chaos unfurls
and while panics at high
we take to the sky
implicating all but us
leaving the world in dust
but to this day i look back and i say...

how did we not see this coming
it was an unexpected alarm
this affected everybody
we didn't mean nobody harm

i remember our reactions then
we put the blame on another friend
and now we'll never hear the end
the end, the end until we're gone

to this day i swear it was accidental
but in the back of our minds we remember
that rush our adrenaline gave us and
wish it had been real
and wish we could feel how intensified
our reactions would have been
if only to this day we look back and we say....
